Camera: PHK Doss Producer: Roopa Saurav Screenplay,

Rating : 3/5

Gopi Peenya in his first directorial venture has given a decent, delectable and worth a dekko cinema! There are several points that support the statement. The picturesque locations, tidy screenplay, lovely music and superb camera work add up to the value of this film. Look at the funny spot in a saloon, when Babu is in urgency for urinal etc…you would definitely laugh. The mixture of reality and sentiments is quite appealing. There are two points picked by director Gopi Peenya in this film that relate to the real life story of actor and producer Saurav Babu when he went to USA in 1999 and his life further five years constitute the subject of this film. The funny situations that is also a serious struggle of Kenchappa Babu (Saurav Babu) and Suresh a software guy losing job and facing turmoil in life after he gets another job are well handled. It is a film that you have to enjoy by buying ticket. You might get a chance to fly to USA. Saurav Babu in his first film as hero looks very cool and understood his role very well. Sriraj as the hero emoted well in his cool and composed role. Dattanna and Padma Kumuta are apt for this film. Reena Mehtha looks good from long shot and Yajna Shetty is another treat to watch. Gurukiran scores three lovely tunes. Jaggesh and Komal Kumar song Kandora Hendru Akka…is with lot of moral. PKH Doss has addition boon for his already rich talent. He has lovely locations of Chicago, Kansas, Colorado, cliffhanger spot etc. In addition to a neat film you have a travelogue experience to spot of the exotic spots in USA.

Genre: Drama
Language: Kannada

Director:   Prem
Producer:   Rakshita
Music Director: V Harikrishna

The Hype created by Prem for Jogayya movie was in such a way that there will be something great in that movie, but not up to the expectations, not worst not bad but there are some good things he's tried in this movie. There is a strong message in movie for the Youth and as well as for the politicians.... The link given between Jogi to Jogayya is good, its all about how Politicians & othere rowdy's has missused the name of Jogi for thier selfishness!!!!!!! But big mistake done by Prem is its announced that the movie is 3D, but its not a 3D movie its a 2D movie, again prem is cheated audience by giving false promises, first was for the film Preethi yake bhoomi melide, second is for Raj the show man ans the last is Jogayya, finally he is given 3DICHES(3D) to the audience by anouncing the false commitment in media..... Overall Movie is Good rating would be (3.5/5)

Review
Story

The age old ritual of ‘Kshetra Palakudu’ is revived among the Hindu saints and gurus. They approach the veteran Bheeshma Narayana (Prakash Raj) and he decides to mould one child to be the protector of Badrinath.

This is Badri (Allu Arjun) and as fate would have it, he is chosen to be the protector of the Badrinath shrine. The story takes a turn with the arrival of Alakananda (Tamannah) an atheist due to her reasons. Few sequences revive her faith in the god and also trigger love in her for Badri.

However, Bheeshma wants Badri to take over as his successor and the condition is that he must remain a ‘Brahmachari’ for the rest of his life. On the other hand, there is the evil Sarkar (Kelly Dorjee) along with his wife (Ashwini) who want to get Alakananda married to their son so that they can grab her property. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Highlights:
* Visual grandeur
* Tamannah’s Glamour Feast
* Bunny’s sincere efforts in action and dance
* Picturesque Locales
* Production values

Drawbacks:
* Significant directorial flaws
* Weak climax
* Non-situational songs
* Weak comedy
* Average cinematography
* Abrupt censoring

Final Analysis:

The film came in with various publicity stunts such as

* The costliest film ever made in Tollywood
* Allu Arjun’s Indian Samurai role and his training in Vietnam
* Chinni Krishna’s statement that this screenplay has never been seen before

 Ends up as much ado about nothing...

Thank you hindi movie review pictures

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitly, Irrfan Khan
Music: Pritam Chakraborty
Director: Anees Bazmee
Producer: Ronnie Screwvala, Twinkle Khanna
Writer: Anees Bazmee

Lyricist: Amitabh Bhattacharya, Ashish Pandit, Kumaar

Anees Bazmee’s last film No Problem ended with a Gorilla letting out a gargantuan fart. So as I walked into Thank You, I figured, things can only go uphill from there. But clearly I underestimated Bazmee’s capacity for creating witless, soul-sucking cinema.

Thank You is almost in the same league as No Problem. I say almost because Irrfan, who plays the domineering, philandering husband Vikram, brings a sliver of dignity and fun into the proceedings.
Like his earlier blockbuster No Entry, Thank You is about three friends – Vikram, Raj, played by Bobby Deol and Yogi played by Suneil Shetty – who can’t keep their trousers on. They cheat at every given opportunity. So their wives enlist the help of Kishan, a private detective played by Akshay Kumar, who only complicates matters by developing a serious crush on Raj’s wife Sanjana, played by Sonam Kapoor.

This threadbare plot is an excuse for moronic gags, desperate hamming, a sleazy display of flesh and endless cringe-inducing dialogue like: mard ka nature hai ki bacche apne ache lagte hain aur biwiyan auron ki.

Thank You is an equal opportunity offender. So the men are boorish, infantile and perpetually in heat while the women are simpering dodos who continue to do Karva Chauth for their offensive husbands. But Bazmee, and the four writers who have co-written this drivel with him, want to have their cake and eat it too. So, the film ends with a speech on the importance of wives and why husbands should be better behaved. Which is perhaps what prompted Irrfan to say in an interview that Thank You is a tribute to housewives and will boost the female ego.

I can assure you that my ego was not boosted. In fact my brains were battered to pulp and my eardrums are still recovering from Pritam’s cacophonous sound-track. I’m going with one and a half star.

Kanteerava Kannada movie review wall papers

KanteeravaDirector Thushar Ranganath started his career with the movie Gulama in 2009. After two years gap, he is back with his second venture Kanteerava, which stars black cobra Vijay in the lead. It is a remake of Jr NTR's hit Telugu movie Simghadri and the director has done nothing but clear copycat except a few changes made here and there to suit the taste of local audience.

Kanteerava is an action thriller with triangular love story as its backdrop. Duniya Vijay's acting is the main attraction of the film. Chakri's music, Risheeka Singh's glamour, Mandya Ramesh and Sadhu Kokila's comedy, punch dialogues, costumes, fights and dance sequences are the other highlights of the film.

The movie has a good storyline that is all about an angry young man eliminating the rowdy elements in his neighbouring state and becoming the saviour of people of that state. The narration of the film is good. The first half is bit slow pace, but the second half, which has all the commercial elements like comedy, love, emotion and fights, is very interesting. In the climax, there are some thought provoking dialogues exchanged between hero and villain.

Kanti alias Kanteerava (Vijay) is an orphan. He is impressed by Ramachandrapa (Srinivasamurthy), the village leader's principle that he is ready to die himself or kill anyone for the welfare of ten people. Once Kanti saves his life by risking his own life. Later, he is grown up by the leader, whose granddaughter Kasthuri (Rishika Singh) falls in love with him. But, he is in love with a girl called Indra (Shuba Punja), whom he is secretly looking after. After gaining her consciousness, Indhu tries to kill him. Why she tries to kill him and whom he will marry will form the climax of the film.

As usual, Vijay looks superb in his role as angry young man Kanteerava. He wins the heart of audience in action, comedy and sentimental sequences. Risheeka's glam skin show is a feast for pranksters. Shubha Poonja has done justice to her role. Mandya Ramesh and Sadhu Kokila's comedy is a highlight of the film. Srinivasamurthy, Mukesh Rishi, Rahul Dev, Bhanuchander and Sankesh Kashi are good in their respective roles.

Chakri has composed music for five songs of the film and songs like 'Cheluve Cheluve...' and 'Singamalai...' are good. Dasari Srinivas' camera work is good. Editing work, costumes and locations are also commending. Overall, it is a perfect commercial entertainer and atleast Vijay fans should not miss it.

Producer: Ramu

Director: Thushar Ranganath

Cast: Vijay, Shuba Punja, Rishika Singh, Srinivasamurthy, Mandya Ramesh, Mukesh Rishi, Rahul Dev, Bhanuchander, GV, Yamuna, Rekha, Sankesh Kashi, Vijay Kashi

Kote Kannada movie review, story details

Film: 'Kote'
Cast: Prajwal Devaraj, Dimple Chopade, Gayanthri Rao, Ravishankar, Shivashankar and others; Director: Srinivasa Raju; Producer: Jack Manju; Camera: Datta; Music Director: Raghu Dixit;

Director Srinivasa Raju's third film 'Kote', which has Prajwal Devaraj in the lead, is an engaging action film packed with entertaining commercial elements. Raju's first two films were badly directed, but he definitely shows a lot of improvement in his third outing.

Yes, 'Kote' story is not fresh, but it is certainly fast-paced and has many entertaining moments to keep the audience in good spirits. The situations in the film moves so fast that viewers will not get time to think about logic.

Raju is also lucky enough to get services of two excellent technicians like experienced Datta in the camera department and Raghu Dixit in the music. Both of them have done exceptional work in their respective departments.

The story is more than a century old, but what saves the film is good dialogues by writer Gururaj Desai and the performances of Ravishankar and Prajwal. Both the actors exude a lot of energy on the screen.

Ravishankar, a well-known dubbing artist, has delivered an amazing performance in the film besides making a strong impact with his dialogue delivery. But the humour element is a drawback and Raju has done more harm by projecting people from the third gender in a bad light.

In the film Vignesh's (Prajwal) father is transferred to Hubli and the entire family shifts their with Pooja who has become a part of the family. Pooja's parents died in a tragic accident and after that she is being looked after by Vignesh's parents.

In college, Vignesh meets Navya who likes him for his courage and his helping nature. In the college, Vignesh comes into contact with local Don Katari's (Ravishankar) henchman and beats them up.

Katari doesn't take it so seriously thinking that Vignesh is just a college student. But when Katari's henchman try to kill a police officer, Vignesh shoots them by using the officer's service revolver. Now Katari wants to take revenge from the policeman and Vignesh who is ready to testify against his brother.

Ravishankar steals the show as Katari. Prajwal shows maturity in his performance - in fact, this is his best performance so far.

Mumbai-based actress Dimple has nothing much to do. Dance director Shivashankar, who has an important role in the film, is irritating.

'Kote' has enjoyable entertainment quotient and good performances from Prajwal and Ravishankar.

Yeh Saali Zindagi movie review, images, story and rating

Writer-director Sudhir Mishra’s Yeh Saali Zindagi is the most twisted love story you’ll see this year. There are so many characters, sub- plots, voice-overs, flash-backs, intrigues and counter-intrigues that you will need a master-guide to keep it straight.

The film is much too long, indulgent and exhausting but if you’re willing to work with it, there is considerable fun to be had.

Irrfan Khan plays Arun, a somewhat shady fixer, who works with the equally shady Mehta, played by Saurabh Shukla. I couldn’t quite figure out what business these men are in but it seems to be some combination of real estate, money laundering and generally thuggish operations.

Arun falls in love with Priti, played by Chitrangda Singh, but doesn’t find the time to tell her so she gets into a relationship with another man.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep, a criminal-trying-to-go-straight, played by Arunoday Singh, is having relationship troubles of his own. His wife is vehemently against his occupation but passionate about him.

There’s also assorted thugs, corrupt politicians, corrupt policemen and even a smooth criminal with an intriguing passion for fashion.

What works here is the writing, especially the deliciously wicked dialogue written by Manu Rishi and Mishra.

There are some killer lines and a liberal use of choice Hindi curse words – it seems like no Delhi-based film can work without that. Mishra has great affection for his characters. Each one gets a little detail that defines him. So Mehta’s password on his computer is: Main Shayar Toh Nahin. Mishra also finds the vein of dark, droll humour that runs through a gangster’s life. So in the midst of a kidnapping operation, Kuldeep is summoned to his son’s school because his son has beat up another child and there is a lovely scene in which Mehta is threatened by
rivals as he lies naked on a massage table.

After they’ve left, he tells the masseuse to continue because, yeh toh hota rehta hai.

The trouble is that these terrific moments are buried in too much plot and too much chatter. It’s almost as if the director was bursting with a hundred stories and decided to tell them all at once.

Yeh Saali Zindagi needed to be shorter and less flabby. I also wish that Arunoday and Chitrangda were more forceful actors - thankfully Irrfan Khan, Saurabh Shukla, Sushant Singh and a host of other strong performers ably prop them up. Eventually then, Yeh Saali Zindagi doesn’t hit all the high marks it sets for itself but it provides enough crackle to keep you entertained. Check it out.

Jogayya release in 300 theaters

       Prem has told an interviewer on a private channel that the audio of the film will be releasing in January next year and the film's tickets will be issued two weeks in advance. Whether these claims is acceptable or near to reality will have to be tested only in future as he has been making such empty claims even in previous films. He says that he will be releasing Jogayya in about 300 theatres in the state when everyone in the industry knows that state boasts of 600 good permanent structured theatres.
      Anyway Best of Luck to Prem to realise his claims which now looks as only dreams that can only remain unfulfilled in days to come.
