Upendra started his career in Kannada film industry (Sandalwood) as a writer and Assistant Director with Kannada Movie director Kashinath.

Debut movie of Upendra as director is Tharle Nan Maga. In the movie "Tharle Nan Maga" he showed his talent and skills of his direction, lyrics and script writing. Upendra continued the career of Upendra in directing the movies till 1997.

Paramathma`s revised schedule

The shooting of Yogaraj Bhat directed Paramathma starring Puneet Raj Kumar in the lead will commence from June 13 in Bengaluru.

The film`s shooting in Theerthahalli was stalled due to the rains in the Malnad region.

The shooting is taking place in an old house in Kasaravalli Village near Theerthahalli.

A ten day shooting schedule has been planned in Bengaluru. Deepa Sannidhi, Aindrita Ray and Ramya Barna are the three heroines in this film which also has Rangayana Raghu and Avinash playing important roles.

Santhosh Kumar Pathaaje is the cinematographer while Hari Krishna is the music director of the film.

Kannada Superstar Shivraj Kumar’s latest film Lakshmi was launched recently at a grand event. Bhasker and Ravi are producing this project as Bharani minerals first venture. Priyamani is penciled in as the heroine in it.

Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar joined the team of ‘Lakshmi’ opposite to the dais to light the lamp to mark a beginning to the maiden shot for the film. She was accompanied by Mr Bhasker, Smt Shruthi, Smt Geetha Shivarajakumar, Vinay Raghavendra, producer R Srinivas, Shrikanth and others. On the huge dais soon after seven fifteen in the evening Vinay Raghavendra came up and unveiled the new poster of century hero Shivarajakumar. This is the first such task for Vinay Raghavendra and he wished good success for the film and said he is waiting to watch ‘Lakshmi’.

"Already Mylari has shown the way. I am sure that our favourite actor's next release Jogayya followed by Lakshmi will be hugely successful' said Raghava Loki. The film's heroine and Namma Hudugi Priyamani was also quite excited. She said that Lakshmi was her fourth Kannada film and she was quite happy to work with a big hero like Shivaraj Kumar. "The script has really excited me.

I am quite confident that this film will be a big success' added Priyamani. The colourful function had a presence of a number of top directors of the Kannada film industry including Soori, Guru Prasad, Nagashekhar and film's music director Nagashekhar. much-anticipated audio on May 18.
 Jogayya Kannada movie was originally scheduled to
release its audio CD on April 24, but now the glitzy event of
the Audio release of Jogayya Movie is postponed to May 18.
 Jogaiah Kannada movie starring Hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar and
bollywood hot actress Kangana Ranaut is directed by Prem and
produced by his wife Rakshita.

 Having completed 25 years now in the Kannada film industry Jogayya
marks actor Shivanna’s 100th film. Jogaiah is a sequel of the movie
Jogi a Kannada blockbuster of 2005. Jogayya has already amassed
great expectations from fans amidst rumors that director Prem and
his producer wife Rakshita have shelled out a whooping Rs 1.5 crores
on a special song in the movie which has been shot on 3D technology
with more than 200 experts having worked on it.

 Also the most interesting thing about Jogaiah movie is that Tamil
Super Star Rajnikanth is appearing in a guest role in the movie.

 Music for Jogayya is composed by V Harikrishna while Nagesh has
choreographed the songs. The music rights of Jogayya has been
brought by Ashwini Audios. Producer Ms. Prem Rakshitha is planning
to release Jogaiah audio at a grand function scheduled for May 18.

 The movie was shot at Muththathhi with a song being picturised in
Mysore and patch work at Mysore Jilla Panchayat office. Director
Prem plans to release Jogayya movie on Vara Mahalakshmi festival
which also coincides with the day Jogi was released.

The title of Puneet Rajkumar's forthcoming movie had created lot of curiosity among the his fans. Even the producers of the film had big confusion about it. Finally, putting an end to all the tensions, the bosses have titled it Hudugru, which is a remake of hit Tamil film Nadodigal.

Hudugru was launched at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore on 18th October, just four days after the release of his movie Jackie. The film is being directed by Gaja and Raam fame K Madesha and produced under the banner Vajreshwari Combines. Currently, it is being shot in different parts of Bangalore.

Besides Puneet Rajkumar, Loose Mada a.k.a. Yogish, Srinagar Kitty and Radhika Pandit are playing the lead roles in Hudugru and all of them will get equal footage in it. Guruprasad is doing a cameo in it. Dumb actress Abhinaya, Ramya Barna, Sreenivasa Prabhu, Sudha Belawadi, Rangayana Raghu and Vanitha Vasu are in other important roles.

However, V Harikrishna is the music director of Hudugru. Sathya Hegde is handling the camera and Guruprasad has penned the dialogue for it.
