Kannada Superstar Shivraj Kumar’s latest film Lakshmi was launched recently at a grand event. Bhasker and Ravi are producing this project as Bharani minerals first venture. Priyamani is penciled in as the heroine in it.Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar joined the team of ‘Lakshmi’ opposite to the dais to light the lamp to mark a beginning to the maiden shot for the film. She was accompanied by Mr Bhasker, Smt Shruthi, Smt Geetha Shivarajakumar, Vinay Raghavendra, producer R Srinivas, Shrikanth and others. On the huge dais soon after seven fifteen in the evening Vinay Raghavendra came up and unveiled the new poster of century hero Shivarajakumar. This is the first such task for Vinay Raghavendra and he wished good success for the film and said he is waiting to watch ‘Lakshmi’.
"Already Mylari has shown the way. I am sure that our favourite actor's next release Jogayya followed by Lakshmi will be hugely successful' said Raghava Loki. The film's heroine and Namma Hudugi Priyamani was also quite excited. She said that Lakshmi was her fourth Kannada film and she was quite happy to work with a big hero like Shivaraj Kumar. "The script has really excited me.
I am quite confident that this film will be a big success' added Priyamani. The colourful function had a presence of a number of top directors of the Kannada film industry including Soori, Guru Prasad, Nagashekhar and film's music director Nagashekhar. Incidentally Chadnrashekhar who has obtained rave appreciation from the recent Shivaraj Kumar starrer Mylari who is wiedling the camera for this new film Lakshmi was also present. Lakshmi's thunder will surely remain in the memory of Shivaraj Kumar's fans for quite a longer time. The film's shooting will continue for ten days from Friday till 10th January in Bengaluru.
